Manchester City of Trees

Lindsey joined other volunteers at Hurst Wood in Whitefield to plant native trees and shrubs as part of tree planting day run by Red Rose Forest (Manchester City of Trees). Dodging the rain showers, the team planted oak and cherry trees on a site approved by the Forestry Commission.
