It's no surprise to Lindsey that Netball was the most attended sport at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games.

With over 100,000 tickets sold, the hype in the Hydro was real - she could feel it through her feet in the stands and in her headphones in commentary.

9 days of power, passion and extraordinary people.

The best players on the planet showcased unbelievable athleticism, world class competition, old rivalries, new records and a shake-up of the world order; as the crowd cheered for more.

Lindsey's first experience of watching England Netball was in a leisure centre in Yorkshire in the 1990s. She's followed the team ever since, seeing exponential change.

That’s why summer 2026 meant so much to her.

Not only is the sport growing and shining, but broadcast allows more people to witness and fall in love with it.

From Netball Super Cup, through a full NSL season, ending with the Netball Super League Grand Final, Lindsey worked with Sky Sports and the BBC to air domestic Netball at its best.

Then things went global.

Being lead commentator across every single England Netball match, big Home Nations clashes and many more besides at the Commonwealth Games, was absolute magic. History is made of moments and moments are made of magic.

Walking hand in hand with the fans through the highs and the lows is something Lindsey will never forget. What a privilege to have done so alongside a hugely passionate broadcast team at TNT Sports.

With the Netball World Cup in touching distance and a huge domestic season on the way in 2027, this sport is rising. Hope you're ready for the ride ;-)
