BBC Radio 4’s Opening Night comes from a different regional centre each month. For the June episode Lindsey went back to her theatrical routes in Leeds to explore the role of women, both on and off stage.

Starting behind the scenes at the West Yorkshire Playhouse’s world premiere of bestselling novel 'The Girl on the Train' starring Jill Halfpenny, Lindsey went on to meet a team of young women theatre makers who put unsung women front and centre stage.
